The launcher
The grid button in the top bar opens every app you can use. Type to filter, star an app to pin it, and use the arrow keys and Enter. Your recent apps are listed too.
Explore Apps
Explore Apps (from the launcher, or search "explore") shows every Dynamo product and its state for your organization:
| State | Meaning |
|---|---|
| Included | Part of your subscription. Open it from the launcher. |
| Available | Can be added to your subscription. |
| Trial available | Can be tried before buying. |
| Coming soon | Announced, not available yet. |
| Turned off | Your administrator turned it off; it can be turned on again. |
Some apps need another one (for example Payroll needs People); Explore Apps shows that.
Turning an app off or on (administrators)
Explore Apps → Turn apps on or off lists the apps your organization has, each with a switch. Turning an app off removes it from the menu, search and the launcher for everyone, and its screens, reports and data entry close. Nothing is uninstalled and no record is deleted: turn it on again at any time and everything is still there. Your subscription does not change; to stop paying for an app, change your plan in Apps & subscription.
An app that another app needs is turned off after that one (for example Finance after Subscriptions), and the other way round when turning on.
The Saudi pack (Saudi government services) can be turned off too. If a company issues ZATCA e-invoices, you confirm that e-invoicing is switched off as well. While the pack is off nothing is sent to ZATCA, salary slips do not calculate GOSI, the Muqeem, licence and certificate reminders stop, invoices print without the ZATCA QR and the Saudi fields leave the forms. The e-invoicing units, certificates and e-invoices stay. When you turn the pack on again, switch e-invoicing on in ZATCA settings.
Requesting an app (administrators)
Administrators can choose Add app, Start trial or Contact sales. This creates a request for the Dynamo team; it is listed under Apps & subscription → Requests with its status. A request never switches an app on by itself — the app appears once your subscription is updated, usually with no further action from you. Other users can see what exists and ask their administrator.
Removed apps keep their data
If an app is removed from your subscription, it is hidden and blocked, but nothing is uninstalled and no data is deleted. Adding it back shows the same records.
