In detail
Accounting, or the whole company
QuickBooks Online is built for bookkeeping: invoices, expenses and the reports a small team and its accountant need. If you also run stock, purchasing, a till, HR or projects, check which of those QuickBooks covers in your country and which need another app. DynamoOS has those apps in the same system as the books, so an order, its delivery and its invoice are one chain.
Pricing
QuickBooks Online's US plans run from US$38 a month for one user to US$340 for 25 users, with a free plan for one user and two invoices a month, and 50% off for the first three months, as we read on 10 October 2026. DynamoOS starts at $39 a month for Dynamo ERP with 3 full users included; Dynamo Complete, with every app, is $72.
Currencies, languages and local rules
DynamoOS invoices in 149 currencies, keeps several companies under one sign-in and works in English or Arabic, with the Arabic interface in preview. The Saudi Arabia pack adds ZATCA Phase 2 e-invoicing, tested against ZATCA's developer sandbox. We have not compared QuickBooks on these points for this page.
Which one fits
Choose DynamoOS if
- You hold stock, buy from suppliers or sell at a counter, and want it in the same system as the books
- You trade in several currencies or run several companies
- You work in Arabic and English, or need Saudi e-invoicing
Choose QuickBooks if
- You are a small US business that mainly needs bookkeeping
- One person sends a few invoices a month and the free plan is enough
- Your accountant already works in QuickBooks and you need nothing beyond the books
Moving to DynamoOS
Export your customers, suppliers, items and opening balances to spreadsheets and import them into DynamoOS; there is no direct connector from QuickBooks. Our fixed-price onboarding packs can do the setup, import and training with you. Your data stays exportable in standard formats, so the move is never one-way.
Is DynamoOS too much for a small team?
If you only send invoices, QuickBooks or another accounting app is the simpler choice. DynamoOS fits when you also manage stock, purchasing, people or projects.
Can DynamoOS import our QuickBooks data?
There is no direct import from QuickBooks. Export your customers, suppliers, items and balances to spreadsheets and import them; our onboarding packs can do it with you.
Can our accountant work in DynamoOS?
Yes. Give your accountant a user in your workspace, or export ledgers and reports in standard formats.
