A subprocessor is a third party that DYNAMO engages to process customer personal data on its behalf. This page lists them, with purpose, data and location, as the Data Processing Agreement requires.
1.Current list
| Subprocessor | Purpose | Personal data | Location |
|---|---|---|---|
| Contabo GmbH | Provides the servers in the data centre where Dynamo runs the platform | All workspace data stored on those servers | Germany |
1.1Each workspace is operated by Dynamo on its own platform, with its own database and storage area, on the servers listed above.
1.2This list covers workspace data. Where the company engages a provider to process the personal data it handles for its own purposes (the website, signup and status page), the Privacy Policy says so and the provider is added here as well.
2.Providers added before they are switched on
2.1Before Dynamo switches on a third-party service of one of the following kinds for customer data, it adds the provider to the list above with its legal name, its purpose, the personal data concerned and its location, and updates the Privacy Policy.
| Category | What it would be used for | Personal data it would handle |
|---|---|---|
| E-mail delivery | Sending verification codes, workspace e-mails, invoices, status notices and notifications from workspaces | E-mail addresses, names and the content of the messages |
| Object storage | Storing Drive files and attachments of workspaces, and backups, outside the workspace’s own server | Files and attachments that customers upload, which may contain personal data |
| Payment provider | Hosting the payment page and processing card and other payments for subscriptions | Name, e-mail, billing details and payment details of the payer. Card data is handled by the provider, not by Dynamo. |
| AI inference hosting | Running the models of Dynamo AI, if they are ever hosted by a third party rather than by Dynamo | The questions and the source passages that the user is allowed to read, as sent to the model |
2.2A storage or e-mail service that a customer connects to its own workspace is chosen by the customer and is not Dynamo’s subprocessor.
3.How we give notice of changes
3.1We add a subprocessor to this page before it is switched on, and give customers advance notice of a new or replacement subprocessor as the Data Processing Agreement describes: by e-mail to the Account Owner or by notice in the workspace, at least 30 days before it starts to process customer personal data.
3.2A customer may object on reasonable data-protection grounds within the notice period, and the Data Processing Agreement sets out what happens next.
3.3Each subprocessor will be bound by a written agreement with data-protection obligations no less protective than the Data Processing Agreement, and Dynamo remains responsible for it.
4.Locations and transfers
4.1Where a subprocessor will process data outside the United Kingdom, the list shows the country and the transfer mechanism, as the Privacy Policy describes. Choosing a storage location for a workspace is a technical choice and is not by itself a statement about data residency or compliance.
