Simplified tax invoice with QR code

Fill in your details and the items. You get a simplified tax invoice with 15 % VAT and the ZATCA QR code, ready to print or save as PDF.

15 digits, starting and ending with 3.

Items

Runs in your browser. Nothing you type is sent, unless you ask us to e-mail you the result.

Add the seller name, a valid VAT number and at least one item to see the invoice.

How it works

What must a simplified tax invoice show?

A simplified tax invoice, used mostly for sales to consumers, shows the seller's name and VAT number, the date, a description of the goods or services, the VAT rate and amount and the total with VAT, plus the QR code.

What is inside the ZATCA QR code?

Five fields, each written as tag, length and value and then encoded in Base64: the seller's name, the VAT number, the invoice date and time, the total with VAT and the VAT amount. Lengths are counted in bytes, so an Arabic name takes about twice its letters.

When is this invoice not enough?

In the integration phase of e-invoicing, simplified invoices must be issued by software linked to ZATCA's FATOORA platform and reported, and their QR code also carries the invoice hash and signature. Check whether your company has been called into that phase.

Questions

  • Is anything sent to ZATCA or to DynamoOS?

No. The invoice and its QR code are made in your browser. Print it or save it as PDF from the print window.

  • Why does the QR code change when I edit the invoice?

It holds the seller, VAT number, time, total and VAT. Any change to them gives a new code.

  • Can DynamoOS issue integration-phase invoices?

Yes. Phase 2 e-invoicing is built into Dynamo Finance and links to ZATCA once your company completes its own FATOORA onboarding.
