This notice explains what DYNAMO keeps in your browser when you use this website and a DynamoOS workspace. In short: the website sets no cookies and has no analytics or advertising; workspaces use only the cookies they need to work.
1.In short
- The website sets no cookies.
- The website uses no analytics, advertising, social-media or other tracking technology, and does not build a profile of you.
- The website remembers your light or dark theme choice in your browser, and keeps your signup answers (never your password) for the length of your visit to the signup.
- DynamoOS workspaces use strictly necessary cookies, so that you can sign in and stay signed in securely.
1.1Because the website sets no cookies and uses only what it needs for the service you ask for, it shows no cookie banner. If that changes, we will update this notice first and ask for your consent where the law requires it.
2.This website
| Name | Type | What it holds | Why | How long |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| dy-theme | Local storage (not a cookie) | Your theme choice: light, dark or system | To show the website in the theme you chose | Until you clear your site data. It stays on your device and is not sent to us. |
| Signup draft | Session storage (not a cookie) | The answers you entered in the signup so far, and the step you reached. It never holds your password. | So that a page refresh does not lose your progress | Until you close the tab, or until you submit the signup, when the draft is deleted. |
| Signup reference | Session storage (not a cookie) | After you submit the signup: the reference of your request, your e-mail address, your workspace name and the time | To show you the progress of your workspace on the status page of the signup | Until you close the tab. |
2.1Your language comes from the address you visit (for example /en or /ar). It is not stored in a cookie. These items stay in your browser, and the website does not send them to us or to anyone else, except that the signup answers you submit are sent to us to create your workspace, as the Privacy Policy describes.
2.2Our servers and hosting infrastructure may record technical information, such as your IP address, when you request a page. The Privacy Policy covers that.
3.DynamoOS workspaces
3.1A DynamoOS workspace is a web application. After you sign in, it sets cookies that are strictly necessary for it to work. They are used to:
- keep you signed in during your session (a session identifier);
- show the interface for the signed-in user, such as the user’s name, picture and language;
- protect your session and forms against misuse, including cross-site requests;
- complete single sign-on securely, where your organization has enabled it (a short-lived cookie that binds the sign-in attempt to your browser).
3.2These cookies are first-party cookies set by the workspace address. They are used only for the workspace, are not used for advertising or tracking across sites, and are removed when the session ends or expires, or when you sign out. Because the service cannot work without them, they do not require your consent.
3.3Your organization (the workspace owner) may add tools of its own to its workspace, or connect services. Those are the organization’s responsibility.
4.How to control cookies and stored data
4.1You can use your browser settings to see, block or delete cookies and site data, and you can use a private window so that nothing is kept after you close it. The theme choice returns to the system setting if you clear it.
4.2If you block the strictly necessary cookies of a workspace, you will not be able to sign in. The website works without any browser storage.
5.Changes
5.1If we introduce analytics or any other optional cookie or similar technology, we will update this notice before we do, and will ask for your consent where the law requires it. Questions: privacy@dynamoos.com.
