Administrators see a Getting started card on Business Home until the workspace is set up. It is a checklist, not a wizard: do the steps in any order, skip what does not apply, and come back later.
The steps
| Step | What it does |
|---|---|
| Complete your company profile | Address, tax details and logo on your company record |
| Invite your team | Add users (each enabled user who can sign in takes a seat) |
| Assign roles | Give people the roles that match their work |
| Import your data | Bring customers, suppliers, items or opening balances from a spreadsheet |
| Upload your files | Put shared documents into Dynamo Files |
| Explore the apps | See what is included in your plan and what you can add |
| Connect your tools | Sign-in providers, API keys and other integrations |
| Explore a product | Open one of your apps and try a first record |
Steps that Dynamo can detect (for example, a second user exists) are ticked automatically. The card shows the next three open steps; All steps lists everything.
Skip, restore, dismiss
- Skip a step that does not apply; Undo brings it back.
- Dismiss hides the whole card.
- To bring the checklist back: Apps & subscription → Show the getting-started checklist.
Sample data
During a trial, an administrator can load sample data to explore the apps with realistic records. Sample data is only ever added when someone asks for it — a production workspace never receives demo data automatically. Do not load sample data into a workspace you already use for real work.
