Dynamo AI is available when it is part of your subscription and your administrator has turned it on. It appears as the Dynamo AI app and as Ask Dynamo inside other apps.
What it can do
- Answer questions about records you can open ("which invoices of Al Noor are overdue?").
- Search and summarize files you can open, answer questions about a document, compare two revisions.
- Summarize a project, a customer or an inspection; draft an update, an e-mail or a document.
Answers name their sources (the record or file, and the page where possible) so you can check them. If Dynamo AI cannot find a source, it says so instead of guessing.
What it can never do
- See more than you. Dynamo AI searches with your permissions. A record, field or file you cannot open is never retrieved, summarized, cited or used to infer an answer.
- Cross organizations. Your organization's data is never used to answer anyone else.
- Act behind your back. Reading, searching and drafting happen directly; creating or changing anything is proposed to you and only done after you confirm, through the normal screens, roles and approvals.
- Follow instructions hidden in documents. Text inside files, notes or e-mails is treated as content, not as commands.
Privacy
Dynamo AI runs on models that Dynamo operates for you; it does not send your questions to a third-party AI service. Administrators control who may use it, which apps and sources it uses, and how long conversations are kept, in Settings → Dynamo AI.
When AI is unavailable
Dynamo works fully without AI. If the AI service is busy or down, Ask Dynamo says so; nothing else is affected.
